At the highest level, our objectives are to implement and maintain an Integrated Management System which meets the requirements of:
- Our internal financial objectives
- ISO 9001:2008 Quality management systems
- BS OHSAS 18001:2007 OHAS management systems
- ISO 14001:2004 Environmental management systems
- Our customer expectations
We will provide the necessary resources to do this.
Other objectives are included in our IMS Plan, which is a living document assigning responsibilities and planned completion dates.
We seek to continuously improve our performance and we involve all our employees in this process, which is managed through our IMS Plan.
All our processes are documented. We undertake audits to verify compliance. Actions arising from audits are assigned to individuals within a timeframe and tracked to close-out.
As a minimum, we comply with relevant UK legislation and other requirements to which we subscribe, e.g. UK Oil & Gas guidance and FPAL.
We consult with our employees through various meetings and encourage them to contribute to the achievement of our objectives.
We provide suitable and sufficient information, instruction and training to enable our staff to carry out their jobs competently.
Similarly, we communicate and cooperate with third parties to achieve mutual objectives.
We conduct an annual Management Review of our IMS to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. The reviews include assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for any changes to the IMS.
